Rest of Season Fantasy Football Rankings might be the most underrated, underutilized tool in the game. These rankings can be used for waiver value, trades, and identifying players we should be dropping.
Rest of Season Rankings
There aren't many places we can get full rankings that have the rest of the season in mind, let alone rankings as accurate as ours. These Rest of Season Fantasy Football rankings have been among the most accurate over the past five seasons.
Amari Cooper only ran 12 routes, he had four receptions on five targets for 66 yards and a TD. Buy Cooper if you still can!!!
James Cook returned from injury with 12 carries for 32 yards and a touchdown. Ray Davis didn't see his second touch until the third quarter but finished with six touches for 47 yards and a touchdown.
In his unbelievable return from what appeared to be a career ending injury, Nick Chubb handled 12 of 18 backfield touches and played 36% of the snaps. He had 11 touches at halftime and only one in the second half.
With Amari Cooper being traded to Buffalo, it was David Njoku (10-76-1 on 14 targets) and Cedric Tillman (8-81 on 12 targets) that led the team in targets. Jerry Jeudy ran the most routes (61) but only saw five targets. Elijah Moore (6-41) saw seven targets.
Joe Mixon turned 27 touches into 124 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7. He has one of the most locked-in workloads in the league.
Ja'Tavion Sanders (6-61 on 6 targets in Week 7) is turning into a decent weapon at tight end. Tommy Tremble should be back soon from injury, but perhaps Sanders has won the starting job.
With 52 yards rushing on 17 carries (3.1 YPC) in Week 7, Chuba Hubbard had his first sub-5.0 YPC game since Week 1. He didn't didn’t earn a single target after catching at least four passes in five straight games. This could be the start of the shift to getting Jonathon Brooks more involved.
THESE WILL BE UPDATED EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING!!!
Players We Can Drop
When we make waiver claims most of the time we can easily determine who to add, but we struggle with which players to drop. It is very difficult to give-up on a player we thought was worth drafting in the first place. If you are struggling, you should be dropping your questions or concerns in our FREE Discord channel. Don't be afraid of it, I'm over 50 and navigate it fairly well.
