The Week 3 Waiver Wire appears to be chock-full of running backs, but a little light at the wide receiver position. Not many of the running backs we see are surprising, we probably drafted most of these players because of the strategy infused in the rankings and draft cheat sheet. The wide receivers are mostly possession receivers that could be valuable in PPR leagues.
Waiver Wire Adds
Jalen Tolbert led the Cowboys with 9 targets, and a 21.4 percent target share.Tolbert had never exceeded 5 targets during any game in his career. Brandin Cooks was held to just 2 catches on a 5% target share, per @RyanJ_Heath.
Braelon Allen scored two touchdowns on Sunday on only 9 touches. He is a legit, one-for-one replacement if Breece Hall goes down.
Rachaad White’s usage continues to get worse. In Week 2, he had just 58.8 percent of backfield carries and saw just a 5 percent target share. Down from 62.5 percent rush share in Week 1 and 75.6 percent last season.
Bucky Irving continues to get incrementally more involved with a 37.5 percent backfield carry share in Week 1, increased to 41.1 percent in Week 2.

Green Bay QB, Jordan Love is targeting Week 5 for his return from an MCL sprain, though there is a chance he beats that goal, per Ian Rapoport

When we make waiver claims most of the time we can easily determine who to add, but we struggle with which players to drop.
