Fantasy Football Rankings - Week 12

Updated: Nov 24

The Process

The process in developing these Fantasy Football Rankings is to only take data from the previous six weeks. Anything older than that holds little relevance unless there is a player returning from injury or some reason to discount the newer information.  Let's also keep in mind that the NFL is a weekly league, things change very quickly. Most analysts want to tell you that whatever happened last week explains everything, but that's far from reality.

Fantasy Football Weekly Rankings

When examining these fantasy football rankings - Week 12, take into consideration that we are looking at positional ranks, not flex or overall rankings. When it comes to who you start in the flex a lot will depend on your specific league rules and roster construction. If players are ranked within 3 spots of each other the difference between them is negligible, they are expected to score the same amount of points, in those cases go with your gut, flip a coin, or join our FREE Discord Channel.

Quarterback

Bo Nix is averaging 275 yards per game and has 11 TD’s over the past 4 weeks.

Running Back

Chase Brown ranks 7th in team rush share (71.4%) inside the five-yard line among rushers with five or more carries inside the ten yard line. He ranks first in expected fantasy points per game in Weeks 8-11 per ‪@corbinyoung21.bsky.social.

Both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) sustained injuries in Week 11 and are unlikely to play in Week 12. Ameer Abdullah was the only active running back in Week 11, but he's unlikely to command much early-down work even if both players miss time. Abdullah still logged just 1 carry and 3 targets on a 35.5 percent snap rate on Sunday. The Raiders backfield will likely be a committee, and the offense is horrible at running the football.

After Audric Estime led the Denver Broncos in snaps in Week 10, Javonte Williams came back to life in Week 11, playing 53.3% of the snaps, and would likely have been higher had the game remained competitive. He had 9 carries and 5 targets for 87 yards from scrimmage while Estime had just 6 carries and 3 targets, with a 21.7 percent snap rate.

Since rejoining the Minnesota Vikings, Cam Akers has been a reliable back-up RB. He has seen 23 total touches in his past 2 games. He will see a jump in value if Aaron Jones were to miss time.

Wide Receiver

Christian Watson exploded for a career-high 150 receiving yards on just four targets In Week 11. The Green Bay Packers had just 18 drop backs, meaning Watson had a 23.5 percent target share. He played 70 percent of the snaps and ran a route on 77.8 percent of the drop backs.

The Seattle Seahawks have played man coverage on over 45% of drop-backs the past two weeks. Against man coverage, Marvin Harrison Jr. has a 32.8 percent Win Rate (12th), 52 percent Air Yardage Share (3rd), and 34.5 percent first read share (15th), (minimum 50 routes) per @JordanVanekDFS.

Since Jameis Winston took over at QB for the Cleveland Browns, Jerry Jeudy has had a 23.2 percent target share, 29.5% Air Yards share and has been a top-20 WR in Expected Points in his last two games.

Darnell Mooney missed most of the second half of the Atlanta Falcons' blowout loss Sunday due to a hamstring injury, putting his status in doubt even with the Falcons heading into their bye.
